A New Beginning

I count myself as one of the lucky ones.

I was able to turn my gift for drawing into a full-time career. Going on 25 years. It's been tough, but it has been my joy. My choice all those years ago allowed me to be home and present for both my children. I wouldn't have had it any other way. My kids watched me work over the years, helped me brainstorm and gave great, honest, blunt critiques. They both learned VERY early that to touch the artwork was DEATH!! They witnessed as I learned how to do new things and did whatever it took meet client deadlines. As they worked on homework I worked on client work.  They watched me grow to be a better business woman. They watched over me though some very challenging situations. But most of all, my children saw that I loved what I do. They saw the joy and passion I brought to and received from my work.

That's been the best gift of all, spending my life with my children, sharing the joy and passion for my work with them.
