I've been creating custom art for clients
for a L O N G time.

Receiving these beauties in the mail blew me away. I worked with author JF Smith over a several month period to create the star map that serves as the means of navigation in the world he created for his latest book. Making the star map was an extraordinary experience.

The star map is also the background for the book covers. I designed the covers and created the font. JF was a wonderfully communicative client. We really made this art together.

I showed these books to my son. His response was, "Mom, twenty years from now someone will see one of these books in a used book store, pull it off the shelf and bring it home to read it. That's VERY cool. This is something REAL."
