Don’t be intimidated by not “knowing” anything about art. Who you are right now, what you bring to the experience, your experience, of looking at art is perfect. You don’t need a deep background - or any background, or art education, or book learning, to look at, talk about, and enjoy art.You can walk up to a piece of art and simply experience it. Let yourself just look at the art.

Art should make you feel something - the good, the bad, and the ugly. It’s all ok. Whatever you feel or see when you look at art is valid. Open yourself up to the experience of just looking at art. Allow yourself to see and feel whatever. What you see and feel are valid. It’s all ok.
