Ok, so I was an artist at Trader Joe's for a few years. BEST secret art job NO ONE knows about. Every TJ's across the country hire people with good handwriting skills to churn out ALL the signs and product labels. (Note word, churn, which translated to burn as in burn-out in my case after a few years.) For a while I was head artist at a new store. People who wanted to be considered for the art department had to take a test. I asked then to simply write the alphabet, both upper and lower case.
No offense to all who took the test...many took the alphabet test, few passed.
