I get pretty excited each time I get to know a new client. The variety of work that comes across my desk never ceases to amaze me.
This client was an environmental interpreter from Panama. His job was taking visitors on guided tours around the region. He said Panama was full of great artists but no natural history artists. He wanted to help promote the natural history of Panama by creating a series of tee-shirts. He sent me photos of these wonderful Geoffrey’s Tamarins. He took the photos from his back porch. He told me these little impish monkeys are thick in the city parks. I combined his photos with photos of native plants and the beautiful vistas of Panama and created this watercolor.
