Color Scheme for the Dole Mansion in Crystal Lake, Illinois

Built in 1865, the Dole Mansion is quite a grand building still to this day. The Dole Mansion Preservation Society has been restoring the building from top to bottom, inside and out for many years. I was asked to design and fabricate a name sign to go out front. I took the design elements for the sign from the beautiful hand carved woodwork in the parlor. I was then asked to put together a suggested color scheme so the preservationists could begin re-painting.
